- Aaargh!Dear Comcast (if you are reading this to monitor the public's attitudes toward your company, which is doubtful): Your reputation for Customer Service stinks. A good start to repairing your horrible reputation would be to identify the repeated calls to your customers to survey them on your service as coming from your company instead of a typical telephone scam operation's CID like "Philadelphia PA".
Reminds me of a flight attendant I once had who went down the aisles waking up sleeping passengers to see if they wanted a pillow to make them more comfortable. If Comcast is indifferent to its customers' convenience in the very customer surveys it has commissioned allegedly to improve their customer service, they just might be a little unclear on the concept of customer service itself and need to go back to the drawing board.- Caller: Comcast, evidently

- 267-281-8797i just hate call from these people.
- SydKay replies to Tricone| 3 repliesYes, they are Comcast. I did call them for service and I opted to participate in their customer satisfaction survey. But with so many telemarketing calls these days Comcast should have its Caller ID displayed as "Comcast". I received two calls from them, which I did not answer and they did not leave any voicemail. Had the incoming calls displayed "Comcast", I would have answered to give excellent feedback for the excellent service I had received from them.
Hope Comcast will learn. - KaitlinI have received several calls from this number each time I have dealt with Comcast, which has been frequently recently, even though I specifically opted OUT of receiving calls from them when asked about it. They have called me during work as well. Not happy with them for either their service or their frequent calls afterwards.

- tired of comcastI received a call after talking to comcast. After reading the posts attached to this number I figured it was comcast. I was ready to tell them that no, I was not satisfied with my service but as soon as I answered, they hung up. I guess they knew it would not be a good report!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Paul B replies to SydKayYes, they have no name, however they do not mention survey at all now. They say if you want them to get in touch to see how well they did taking care of the problem. Not exact words, but I never remember it being called a survey. and I missed the call cause it was late at night.
- Spike SpiegelDidn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. Automated survey on behalf of Comcast tried to get answers from my outgoing voicemail message. Adding a name to that Caller ID would work wonders.

- ChriThis is, in theory, the Comcast survey number. On my 3rd call to Comcast in 20 minutes (and being hung up on by the 2nd tech support person), I opted in to the survey. They called while I was on the phone with the person. I called back and was given 3 options: opt out of providing feedback, opt out of sales calls or opt out of both. I opted out of the sales calls, expecting it to go the customer service survey, but NOPE! Apparently they don't actually want my feedback, and the "survey" is a survey of when I would like them to contact me.
If my only other option wasn't ATT I'd dump Comcast.- Caller: Comcast
- DaveI didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. It's a Comcast feedback number that they use to measure customer feedback from phone service calls. I'd finished a call 15 minutes earlier, so I didn't link the calls so I didn't answer a call from an unknown number.

- Jonathan replies to HeatherAnyone who called Comcast for technical, billing or for whatever reason has a chance to provide feedback after the call. This is when they ask them to input "their" phone number, in which the person can input anyone's number. Your number might have been used in this way, although I'm sure the person have no intention for harm whatsoever.
- marsoom7 calls from this #. I don't have Comcast. If as stated in above comments that one can enter any phone #, that's a poor design. Comcast should use # that they already have in system for customer; they aren't winning my business.

- Aimee ServerThis phone number called me twice. I do not answer call from phone numbers I do not know. These phone calls are unwanted.
- Dusty| 1 replyThis phone number is from Comcast for a survey after you talk to customer service. You get the option for the survey before you ever talk to an agent. Then an automated survey calls you back usually within half an hour after you hang up. I had answered the call because I was expecting the survey. Later I saw the number on the caller id and forgot it was Comcast so I looked it up here. Don't know why it doesn't say Comcast on the caller id.

- cj replies to DustyThank you Dusty - I had agreed to the survey - BUT - caller ID identified the # as Phila., PA - therefore, I did not take the call. Now, had the call been identified as Comcast then I would have answered.
- pgI have never had any comcast service and received a call at 11:21 PM last Friday.
- coco1231I did call Comcast & opted to have them call me back for the survey. However, since this # did not state it was Comcast - I did not pick up! One would think that 'Comcast' would have much more business savvy than that & display their name in the survey call back #. Really, how hard would that be - maybe the don't want the feedback!

- VickiComcast has the worst customer service in the world. You stay on hold 30 minutes listening to ads or horrific torture music. Then you get disconnected because it times out and you have to start all over. Apparently they don't want wait times of more than a half hour on record. If you leave a message they either never call back, or you get a survey call back before your issue is even resolved by a person. Or you get a call back telling you that you called the wrong number and call back the same number. If you make an arrangement for payment you still get interrupted service and have to pay the re-connection fees, which keeps your ever increasing bill increasing even more. It can take anywhere from an hour to two days of constant calling to resolve an issue. It is absolutely absurd.
