They called me and left no message. I assumed it was a telemarketer.

How can I get rid of All these calls to my cell,  They call then nothing

Keeps calling and hangs up after 1 ring. No message. Just irritating.

Debt collection agency, I get numerous calls from them with a different Caller ID each time. I keep telling them they have the wrong number and I am not the person they are asking for but they just keep calling. I don't even answer any more, I just let it go to voice mail.

Call me all the time - minimum 3 times a day.  Whoever this is hangs up before I answer.

Called me while I was sleeping and only rang once. At first I thought I was dreaming and got up for nothing but come to find out it was this number. No voicemail and I don't feel like calling back due to possible scam

$500.00 a call folks. They brag about using an auto dialer . "predictive dialing campaign   right on their website. That is against TCPA laws.

Ring and hang up i answer all calls before the first ring stops so they hang up when i answer

I get calls from this number and other numbers.  Most are asking for the person who had my mobile number before me.  This number never leaves a message.  I've had my current mobile number for almost two years now and I still get these calls.  I use AT&T.  IMO they are partly to blame for turning these numbers over too quickly.  I started getting calls like this right away and they have only recently tapered off a bit as I've told callers I'm not the person they're trying to reach and I don't know him.  Very aggravating!

I think they use the "Make you call them back" trick to collecting your name and phone number. Best just to ignore/block this spammer.

My cell phone rang one time then hung up, was this same 800 number; no idea but wish I could block.  ID just reads Unknown.

This is Enterprise Rental Car/Company (ERC). I thought also that it was a telemarketer or debt collector, so I didnt answer when they rang my cell, but then the same number called my home number (which a very small number of people have) and my wife answered to find it was Enterprise following up with a survey about our recent car rental experience.

Some Tips:
*Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time,date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

Calls cell phone, lets ring about 1/2 ring then hangs up; has called several times; no idea.

I get calls from this number at least 3 times a week on my cell.  It only rings 2-3 times.  Even if I wanted to answer, they don't give me time.  I wish I had more info to give.

So, the best things to do are to read the following, and make complaints at the provided links.  Also, any communication with these criminals should be by certified, return receipt US mail only:
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
