I was also charged by Click Wit, I have no idea why. After being on hold for more than 20 minutes, I got in touch with someone.  He says they will refund me the monies in 1-5 business days, but who knows whether or not they really will.  For everyone who is reading, a better phone number to contact them is (800)895-6619 and hit extension 389 to speak with Cody (the rep who helped me).  He was nice, but I don't really care about that. To be honest, I hope everyone bombards him with phone calls. This has to stop.

I jsut happened to check my account today and there was a check withdrawal for $29.86 to a  Clickwit. I do not know who this is. I called the # and it gave me another # to call 800-895-6619. I spoke with a person named Shane...he said that he would refund my money but he could not tell me what company authorized him to take out the money. He said it was a payday loan....I have never applied for a payday loan and the account they took the money out of is one that I really don't use. SCAM...calling the bank now.

The same thing happened to me.  I was charged the same amount yesterday.  I called the number this morning and got an automated system that instructed me to call another number in reference to the charge.  When I called the line was busy.  I tried calling the first number back and it has been continually busy as well.  I am on hold with my bank right now trying to get the fraud.

We too took out a payday loan.... but I have read and re-read, there was no mention of any "insurance charges" this company is a scam and really has nothing to do with the loan.

Dang!! I just checked my account and 2 debits from Clickwit. I'm so pissed!!!

You confirm what I suspect.  I had $29.86 unauthorized charge to my checking account.  They created a phoney check number.  Bank stopped payment, put in notice to not allow any "ACH" (debit) charges to my account from this company.

Google "India payday loan scam".  There's a group of scammers from India telling people they defaulted on payday loans and will "be arrested".  You can't be arrested for a debt.  They are scammers.

I've NEVER had a  payday loan, but they called me 258 times in one day at work and on my cell phone.  Changed cell phone number and work number.  Now this unauthorized charge.  Believe it to be related.  Change your phone numbers, and if you haven't changed your checking account, do so NOW.

I just had the same thing happen to me ...you call the 800 # and they tell you to log into this website if you were charged $29.86 on your account .... log  into this site www.customersupportsection.com   and of course they only have Mon-Fri mountain time hours.... I will be contacting the better business bureau and reporting them...

I just noticed I got charged $29.86 to my acct.I also got a call about somepayday loan I owe of $300.00 to cash advance usa I have never taken a loan with these people and the person I spoke to was Indian accent and he was very rude

I just checked my account and they have taken $29.86 from my account! Of course since it's the weekend, their offices are closed. I will be calling first thing Monday morning. I'm also gonna contact the BBB ( Better Business Bureau)

They got me. Thank God my bank is backing me up.

DAMNIT! These blimey [***] got me, too.  This is flipping ridiculous.  RIDICULOUS! They pulled a draft out of my account.  I do not use my checks for anything except direct deposit for my paychecks and pay my rent NEVER online.  NOTHING ELSE.  I have to go to my bank and file an affidavit of forgery and close my damn account and start again.  [***].

Wow, I see I am not the only one.... This is ridiculous to think that people can just take money from your account whenever they feel the need.......... Gotta call my bank and of course they are closed so i have to wait till Monday................

I got hit also and tried calling, but got no response.  I filled out their online form, no response. I called my bank and apparently they are aware of some type of fraud, cause they transferred me to their check fraud dept.

They have reversed the mones and closed my acct and setup a new one for me.  Thanks goodness they will transfer my 2 ACH debits to new acct until I contact those companies to let them know.

Take your bank's advice and close your account and open new one to keep it from happening again.

I still don't know how they got my info.  I use Paypal for all my online transactions and this is not one of them.

Got a charge from them for $29.86 like everyone else. Called, they were closed..filled out a claim form though I doubt that will get me anywhere.

Called my bank, they will refund the money for me anyway regardless if the company will since this was my first fraudulent charge, first nice thing Citizens Bank has done for me lol.

This is definitely illegal, but they get away with it because we signed up for pay-day loans, and regardless of if we took it or not (i didn't, 756% interest!?!? lol), they got our bank account information and are able to make these charges for loan insurance, because they don't represent the payday loan company, so all they have to say is the payday loan company authorized they're service (I'm sure they're working hand-in-hand though)

Companies like this know what they're doing, what they hope for is for someone not to notice the charge or not care about it, this way they basically get free money....I ran into a similar company before and as long as you stay persistent and threaten legal action they will refund the money...but I still suggest changing bank account numbers to ensure this never happens again...I was actually able to block any future transaction from them instead of changing my account info...
