this person alway never answers back when i pick up the phone but one time i called the number and some guy with a wierd accent picked up the phone

I receive no fewer than 3-4 calls/day on my FAX line from these people.  If you call my fax number, the fax picks up and you get fax tones, the same way that every other fax works.  The sheer fact that these nimrods have not gotten a clue that they're calling a fax machine tells me that they are scammers.  Alas, I don't know if the calls will ever end, but at least my fax answers them and not me.

These people called me FOUR times today. The caller ID shows "Telemarketing" I called the number back to tell them to stop calling. It is Capitol One. I've never had a Capitol One card. They were looking for my ex-husband's current wife! WTF? They live on the other side of the country! I don't even have the same last name as them and my number is under my own name.

No wonder they keep calling...your all brain dead.

They have been calling me 8x a day!!!  I can't take it anymore.  I had to pay $7.00 a month now to block them from calling me.  They start calling at 9:00AM and they don't stop until about 10:00PM.  I don't have a Capital One credit card so I know they are trying to scam me out of my personal information.

We receive a minimum of five to eight calls per day from this number.  During the day no message is left on the answering machine and when you answer the call at night it hangs up on you.

THIS IS FRAUD.  IT IS NOT A REAL COLLECTION AGENCY NOR IS IT CAPITAL ONE.  FIRST TIME A MAN AND SECOND TIME A WOMAN CALLED.  THIS NUMBER IS COMING FROM NEWYORK AND ARE THE SAME PEOPLE FROM A 714 AREA CODE ALSO.  SAME VOICES.

I GET NUMEROUS CALLS EVERDAY AND I WANT THEM TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is never an answer from this call.  I re=dialed and the person answered.  He wanted to know my phone number.  He told me the company was Allied Interstate.  I hung up.  They called at least 6 times 1/21.  On 1/22 the first call was at 8:15 AM.  The are harrassing.

I have had 13 calls in two days!!!!!!!!!!!

I just filed a report with the CIA and the FBI. Let's hope that both agencies investigate Allied Interstate. This is for all of the people who have been harassed on the phone by Allied Interstate!

Calling once or twice every hour from 8am on through evening.

Got calls from this number 888-748-7956 multiple times a day for few weeks now. After reading the other posts, I decided to finally answer the call. It rang back and a few seconds later a woman came on the phone and said, "is this mahealani?" or something. I told her she got the wrong number and she hung up. She did not state who she was or where she was calling from. I never even got the chance to TELL her to remove my CELL NUMBER from her list.
