if you had my number for legitmate reasons, then if I didnt want to talk to you i would either just not answer or answer, but if I answered id be polite. the only thing being rude to the person on the other end guarantees is that YOURE going to get really annoyed and frustrated. I USED to be one of the telemarketers back in the day with Idleman telemarketing, and I was an [***] IF you were rude to me. I had nothing better to do than mute my mic and redial you all day until you turned your phone off or left it off the hook. Rudeness out gets [***] behavior back.

You pay for your tv and your cable, but do you get to control commercials, emergency brodcasts, or news stations cutting in with breaking news or weather info? Do you get to control MLB, NFL, Or NBA from going over the scheduled cut off time becuase youd rather watch whats supposed to be on than a game you have no interest in? Somethings you cant control every aspect of. If you dont want to be bothered with phone calls dont give your number to anybody or dont answer. Simple. But be rude to the person and 99 times out of 100 your going to pay for it with repeated call backs and [***] behavoir, becuase thats what rudeness gets you.

get a cordless phone with caller id then try reading the caller id, if you dont recognize the number than its probably not your drs office. Simple.

YOUR bank calling you to see how well they serviced you BECAUSE YOU VISITED them isnt cold calling, you invited the call by going to the bank. If you dont want the call then tell your bank you are not interested in helping them and not to give your number out to thier contracted survey company. Then see what kind of service you get going forward.

Gallup is not a telecommunication company. And all it takes is a nice polite no thank you, then a hang up. But only AFTER you listened to what they are trying to call you about, before that and youll only get another call to explain why they are calling.

Go ahead and do that and see how many times you get called back at 859 pm or at 901 am. Just be polite it goes farther that way.

If you bank for Wells Fargo, PNC, or Citibank among others than yes they did give your number out, thats how they research thier customer service. They DONT give out account information though. Dont like it? then tell the bank, dont take it out on the person calling you. If you question wether they gave out your number then ask a branch manager, dont listen to dumbasses here.

A good blast from a whistle or an air horn in my ear gets you an assualt charge for intentional infliction of pain.

I've gotten two calls on a number from the free Safelink phone. I have not given it to anyone. I don't even know it without looking it up. I keep it as an emergency phone for health reasons and do not have many minutes. I keep it beside my bed in case I need to call 911 or a neighbor. Again, I have NEVER listed this number on anything. Only Safelink & I and my closest friend have the number. I don't like being awoken by a call to a phone that's never been listed. So if this is a random dialing thing, I get it but why call back? Since it's not listed with any bank or anywhere, wtf?

Unwanted call.  Second time.  Didn't answer this time.  Answered the last time and it was the Gallup polling.  Told them I didn't want to speak to them or take a poll.  I told them to take my number off the calling list.  Seems they don't care.

When will people learn to quit calling people registered on a "DO NOT CALL LIST"???   No longer answer these calls.....instead, I google the number & turn them in.
