Received another call from these people stating that I had a loan with loans.com.  Never got a loan with these people.  Don't know how they got the last digits of my SSN.  They said they are processing the court papers.  I advised them I will wait for the court documents. The call ended.

I have been getting these calls since 2010.. I  did have a payday loan and I filed Bankruptcy on it. In the beginning I did talk to them and told them I had filed Bankruptcy, I was told payday loans where not covered under that law, NOT TRUE... They continue to call daily using different phone number. They just called my sister and she pressed 1 stating she did not know me. She is all upset. I told her nothing to worry about. They have been threatening to come and arrest me and everything. I do not know how to get the numbers removed. I am going to talk to my County Attorney and have him give them a call and see where that get them ..

Fake, fake, fake scammer. Rude black chick has been calling every day now, asking for someone who has not had this number in at least a decade (since we've had it). I've started just picking up and calling her vulgar names and laughing at her, then hanging up.

Hey ITSME why dont you get a life!  My bills are paid and i do not owe anyone and from what i wrote do you really think i owe at least 21 different payday loans!!!! You moron!  You must work as a scumbag scammer yourself to write what you did.   I have normal bills that i pay on time every month.  This is a scam and they want money from people who fall for their scam.  Whats really bad is there are some people who get really scared and then give them their information and get taken by these scumbags!!!  So before you open your mouth do a bit more research! Pretty much everyone on here except you have gotten these calls and dont owe anyone anything!

I hate the number/caller, because they are scammers...and how they got my number I can only guess.  I love the iPhone feature that allows me to block callers on the spot...one step, easy and done.

I need to get me an IPhone!  HA...Can not block any numbers on my phone, only thing i can do is hit the send to voice mail.  I never answer any call i do not know.  If it is important (which it usually isnt) they will leave a message.  Thats why most of these calls are all the same and they are relentless!  They just do not get the hint!  I am hoping that someday they will realize that i am not going to answer the call or call them back and then they will take me off their scammers list and stop calling me!

Get a new CC.  See if the bank will reverse charges on the old card because of fraud.    I'd check with the bank and see if anyone has tried to access your  bank accounts.

    Do it quicktime!

No one is going to arrest you.  Debt collectors do not have the power of arrest.

I received a call last November 2013 from a company about a loan I took out; the company to me they were collecting on the debt I owed threaten me with court and jail time; I start make payments to this company only to find out they did not have my debt because I received a letter in the mail about and spoke to someone in their office. the payments I made were stolen...lol. Therefore if it is not in writing then it does not exist; the caller stated her name was Rachel and with Greenman and Swartz lawyer firm.

Hey you bottom feeding illiterate troll.  You can't read and they don't owe a debt to this caller.  Is that too hard for you to understand?  I guess since you can't trick consumers on the phone to scam them into paying you for accounts you don't own, you would prefer to bully them on line with you illiterate remarks.  You know what they say about karma ;)

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot) or Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station). They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names

    Reynolds, Hill, and Associates
    Berkley and Associates
    Kaufmann and Associates
    Sanderson Blaine & Associates
    McKenzie Reid Associates
    Kennedy, Kline, & Associates
    Nationwide Asset and Recovery
    Piedmont Investigations and Procurement
    Raffino, Garrison, & McCoy
    McCoy Law Group

Here is a set of links to a variety of threads on this forum that document this group and its behavior. They include the experiences of victims as well as a former employee or two that quit within a week of finding out exactly what was going on. They also include responses from consumer advocates and people who are really criminal justice professionals advising victims of what to do

These people have threatened me with arrest and jail time if I do not pay them immediately. When advised I was already paying the loan back with an agency that provided me with everything I asked, they said they were the fraudulent ones and I needed to stop all payments.  They have also been contacting my family members stating they were going to issue them with a subpoena to have them come before a judge to tell them my location.
