What possible thought process suggested that we called you, your caller reads your posts here, or your post will effectively stop calls to you?
(Reply to this post to help us understand - we REALLY want to know! - or ignore it, and confirm your lack of comprehension)800notes.com did not call you, cannot block calls for you, cannot put you on or take you off a "list" and cannot report calls for you.

- MarkCalled my home phone looking for someone that I've never heard of at 8:00am. Hung up and blocked the nunber. Sounds like a debt collector scammer trying to get someone to pay someone else's debt, so they'll quit calling you...

- Valerie RobertsonCall every day. I never answer. No message. Annoying.
- Jane Doe replies to Your_posts_are_grammarless_Of course that person was going to light a candle for their souls. Because scam artists and fake debt collectors are going to be ROTTING IN HELL. Or at least should be. I got a call at 8:13 AM and I DON'T HAVE debt. One ring -- just enough to wake me up -- and then a hangup.
- Darlene Van DrewTold me I had an outstanding bill with Publishing Clearing House of 90 some dollars. Haven't done business in years with them. STOP calling me.

- tomlow-rent debt collectors. even if you do owe them money, i wouldnt bother paying a company that resorts to shady robocalls; probably would still call and try to collect anyhow lol
- YCAUScammer asks for my dead relative by name, leaves this callback number for "important business". They are a scam to get your payment information, offering a "free $100 gift card" for just a "small processing fee". If you ask to be removed, they say "please stay on the line" and hang up.

- Lisa McGaha| 7 repliesDo not owe any past due bills. Have never heard of the company they say they represent and have not had this last name in 12 years.
- Caller: Rogan
- Call type: Debt collector
- BigA replies to Lisa McGaha| 6 repliesYou need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt) letter (think of it as the best $6.59 you ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front): http://www.consumeradvocates.org/
http://www.consumeradvocates.org/find-an-atto ... tates_value=All
Everything else you need to know follows including at least two agencies where you should report their criminal activities.
PENN CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS ALSO GOES BY PENN CREDIT CORPORATION.
Alternate Business names: C.C.C., CENTRAL CREDIT CONTROL, DEGARCIA, DONALD C. DONAGHER, JR.
They are known to be rude (especially someone named Jennifer who lies as well), and to attempt to collect debts after they were asked to validate them but did not.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

Since you don't want to read, I hope you like the calls because they will keep coming.
