Screw these jerks calling on Sunday

I have been getting calls from an automatic calling system from: Portfolio recovery for OVER 10 years.  They have not STOPPED calling me!

Getting calls from Portfolio Recovery for years ... status of limitations have been gone for at 3 three plus years of 7 years.  I still get calls!

Instead of putting up with it for years, why don't you do something about it?  Following is the information you need to make complaint, reports, and to send them, a cease and desist letter by certified, return receipt US mail.  Then if they continue, find a consumer lawyer that will work on a contingency basis and sue them.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of the date of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
