survey from TD Canada trust

Stop panicking!

They are from Canada trust! Of course your TD Branch don't have their number!  How do I know it's from them? my TD branch manager told me that TD does call from time to time to conduct a survey on services you received at the branch.

I received a call from this number and did not answer.  I don't pick up call that I do not know and I report them from donotcall.gov which I registered my phone number and it is good for 5 years.

I just received a call from 855-496-4285. It is a marketing company doing a survey for TD Bank. The gentleman was very nice and just asked general questions about the service I received on my last call to TD Reward. There were NO personal questions. It was simply to rate the service received. This number does not belong to TD. It belongs to a marketing company. He mentioned the name of the marketing firm but I did not write it down.

I do agree that you should not give out personal info on the phone but the survey did not ask for personal info.

This number has been calling my cell for a few months. I am not and have never been a TD customer.

I have been receiving calls from this number for months, about twice a day.  Since I've not been in the room with the phone, I've ignored it.  But it finally got to me.  I called the number.  Today (I expect it will change) their answering service reports that their company is Greenwich Associates, a "telephone interview" service.  There was not an option to leave a message.  Any suggestions for how to get them to stop?

Called numerous times before within the last 2 weeks and ignored. Called again today about survey to discuss experience at TD bank.  Had my husband's name, which is scary, but I called TD Bank when they called before and TD said phone ID will say TD BANK not UNAVAILABLE -- it's not TD calling and do not give them any information. I also saw prior posts here and they were very helpful.  I told them today TD said they were bogus, don't call again.  She started to argue back that TD hired them and I said sorry too too many scammers (like them) out there, don't call again.  

Called and left no message.  Call back says its a market research firm.  If they are really doing surveys for TD, I would wonder why they would be calling me since its been almost 4-6 months since I talked to a teller or walked into a branch.  Their automated message on the call back leaves no option to remove your number from their call list, which also raises red flags in my books.  Throw in an Unknown Name on my call display really screams scam, just using a toll free number to do their scams with.

I was not amused....when the caller called looking for a person -I said they were not here, could I help..........gave no response and hung up on me..............very rude.
I will never answer that number again.

I had previously blocked this ph # in my call blocking software but looks like this company found a way to beat it. Still shows up in my phone callerID but is a PITA.

BEWARE I rec'd a suspicious call last evening from 1-855-496-4285 a young lady sounding quite inexperienced told me they were doing a research on Waste. There was a man at my door passing out flyers about waste the day before so I said ok. However, her first question was, what Bank Do You Use? I imediately answered what does that have to do with waste, I do not divulge any of my Banking Info to anyone. Good Bye. I later googled the number and found out many others had rec'd calls from this same number. However, some receiving calls were told it was a Survery by Toronto Dominion Bank and they could win cash or a trip by doing the survey! They checked with the TD Bank and were told they do not conduct third person surveys of any nature and this call was not made by them. On woman in Ontario rec'd a call from the same number and the caller asked for her daughter by name. The mother asked the reason for the call and was told she was selected and could win a cash prize. She reported the call to the TD Bank as well and was assured it was nobody from their Bank calling. SO BEWARE. If you get a call from 1-855-496-4285 Do Not Answser.

Called on my cell phone 4 times last nite at 6:31, 7:21, 7:52, 8:39 no message left.

This is too weird, this would mean that if your answering machine is on you get charged for that call? this is unreal, it can't be true, the CRTC would never allow this

I've gotten a call from 855-496-4285 about 5 times in the last week, when I answer there is alot of voices in the background but no one talking to me on the other end. I tried calling back and it is an automated answering machine saying I've reached "greenwich associates". How can I stop them calling me again?

Part of a fraud campaign targeting numerous financial institutions.  Note the pattern of shill postings all claiming the number is real - an obvious giveaway.

The large number of posts claiming the call is valid come from the fraud artist spamming the site to try to fool people.  There is a similar pattern to other fake calls claiming to be from Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, US Bank, Wells Fargo, RBC, PayPal, etc. all with the same shill postings:

855 -496-4285 is a company called Grennich Assoc. stating they are an "opinion research" company.  When you call the number it gives you this info, tells you to hold for english, states facts in 3 seperate languages then the line hangs up.  So, for a company that states it seeks our opinions why are we blocked from making contact with them ?  
Put on do not call list asap.
