This number is connected to 855-967-5663, after I left a message for them to not call my number any more and that this number is part of a scam, they called me back from 800-657-1430.  I refused to answer.  Reporting both numbers  to the state  police. The first tele number said they were investigators.  Not true.

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot) or Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address). They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”

These people had me so upset by the time I got off  the phone.  Accused me of some E-Loan 6 years ago, I was cursed by an Investigator Hinton, they contacted my family and friends telling them I was a person of interest in a fraud investigation, I called my attorney.  He told me to call them back and ask for the person that had left her name. Amber Wallace I called 5 time 3 of 5 times I was hung up on and 2 of 5 times told this person did not exist.  I specifically asked for their physical address, they would only tell me South Carolina they asked me would I like to settle out of court.  I told them I wasn't settling anything I told them they could speak with my attorney.  They threatened to continue to call my family and to harass me. I have never been so upset in my life, This is not a professional way to do business and I don't owe them anything do not give these people your information.

did they say stuff like they were going to have you served and that the attorney has issued an order for they to prosecute you at your county summons dept....etc etc?

They call again, tell 'em to (1) Go to hell! and (2) tell 'em you've reported them.

They did but I have reported them to the FTC they can not do that and I also told them any further contact they could speak to my attorney.

I spoke with amber, Nicole, michael, grant and they all hung up on me so I kept callin micheal called me rude because I asked whts the name of their company they also told me I would get a summons to court they did a simple skip trace they told me they had my banking information for a bank I dnt even bank with they asked me for my ssn and address I told them no and I recorded all conversations

Someone called from this bogus number and stated they are investigators looking for someone saying they had papers to serve against me.   FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD. They are clueless people who take the easy way out to scam people out of their hard earned money. If they would use up the energy making these ************ calls and harass innocent people and get a "REAL" JOB,  Well, the police, FBI, and other law enforcement are watching you. Your calls are being recorded and STATE FINANCIAL GROUPS, BBB AND STATES ATTORNEYS' ARE WATCHING YOU. I REBUKE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND YOU CAN GO BACK INTO THE DEPTHS OF HELL WHERE YOU CAME FROM.

Rebuking them in the name of "Jaysus" (as the old RC priests from Ireland used to say) isn't going to do a whole lot of good.  But it is a good Idea to record calls that are clearly abusive.  I have a small Olympus voice recorder next to my landline that I use for such purposes.  All threats should be recorded,since they are clearly unlawful for debt collectors.

Do not pay them. This is an illegal debt sweat shop - under investigation.... Save all recorded messages or calls.... They are not in South Carolina.... They use various names and addresses. Do not pay them. They can't do anything to you..... They are extorting money by false means. Report them to the Federal Trade Commission.
