Got another call from vaughn &ASSOCIATES new number 855-860-3119 said I owed for a check to casnetusa and they're suing me for fraud and malicious intent I informed I had talked to cashnet and nca the firm who bought the debt said I was paid up reported to every agency I could FBI FTC wisc attorney general  be careful they are using new number to call and harass

i have received several calls along with my family from this number stating they are forwarding a case to the local county court.this is a scam.  i have contact the state attorney general and they have hacked my old bank account to where i had to change bank accounts.

These low lifes keep calling me for somebody I only known from church and have not seen in many years. I told them this, they said sorry wont call again yet every day they are calling. How can I locate them to report them to the authorites?

Got a call. I did not answer. I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know. I also got a call today from 203.648.9631.

This  # keep calling on my cell over and over.  I called the # back and they answer by say investacator.

Please note that this is a spoofed number.  The real number behind this one is 855-643-7815.  The spoofed number belongs to The Stylish Scholar.  I'll be tracking down who is the carrier of 7815 and let them know how their lines are being used to run scams.  

A rude gentleman alleged he was representing a law firm that collects for Pay Day One loans. Said I had committed fraud and they would be taking me to court. I politely told him I don't have any loans with Pay Day One and I'll see him in court! the alarming thing is these people have my social on file.

They have changed their number to 855-860-2973.  Investigator Marie Thomas is another name to add to your list as scammers.  They call and say that they are calling from the investigations unit of Vaughn and Associates and and state they are going to be bringing charges against me for not paying something.  They get all your information and then try to get you to pay for something that you don't owe on.  Low life jobs for low life people...think they would understand the law and realize their time is short.

Another name to add to your list.   Vaugh and Associates.  Investigator Sophia Williams.   I will have my attorney call and explain some things to her.    They have called 3 times in the past 10 min.  ON MY WORK PHOME!!!  I know  better than to  believe this scam.  I feel sorry for people that panic and do as these people say.  Don't ever give them any banking information EVER!  You must tell them that you will have your attorney call and then hang up and call them back at least 4 to 5 times in a period of 10 min.  Here they are again, calling from another number trying to hide who they are.  Have you ever heard of caller iD stupid people.

This company called looking for someone who is NOT me, claiming that that person put me on an application and now they need me to help locate the person. I told them I would like to be removed from their list, and the person REFUSED and hung up the phone. The next time they called I told them I am on a national do not call list and please remove me from your call list, and was told they will not take me off until they locate the person. They call every day or so, I reported them to do not call and am using a cell phone app to block, but it is still showing when they call so it is still bothering me. I don't have anything to do with this company, and I'm sorry if someone put my name on an application, but that wasn't a choice *I* made and they need to leave me alone. I am clicking on 'debt collector' below because I assume that's what they are, but they won't actually TELL me.

Get their company name, mailing and physical address.  Send them a cease and desist letter, certified mail/return receipt - so they can't say they never received it.  (On the off-chance the letter is "returned to sender" or "refused" - do not open the letter - and keep it as evidence that it was refused.)  You should make clear that you will seek legal action against them if they call you again.  You would have a claim under both the FDCPA and the TCPA, since you are not the alleged debtor they are looking for and they are still calling.

I got a recording that I took in a threatening way.  They said they have files and they wanted to know my whereabouts.

Reading other complaints it seems to go back to Vaughn and Associates.  Someone even mentioned they hacked their checking account.  They had better not touch my money or trying to intimidate me either!!!!

Yes. I got a call  from a person name michelle from 855-860-3119 calling my job they do not leave VM at all but on my cellphone non stop calling. oh well I hit end button all the time and screen my call.

Received a call today asking for my daughter but my husband had been bothered at one time with this outfit. Made threats that she is filing charges against my daughter and she might want to call. This one is going by the name of Victoria Risso at vaugh and associates   855-860-2973. my daughter owes no one but used that check smart to cash her payroll check !!!!
So add this phone number and person to the collection. I also have turned this in to Ohio attorney generals office.

Yes they called me to saying the same [***]. Watch out for them and other like Harding &  associates, Goldman and associates. They call from several different numbers. I had first fell victim and believed the [***] they ended up getting 200$ out of me til they [***] up and tried collecting the debt from another number and another firm. So I did my research and they are frauds.

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot) or Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address). They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”

I just received a message from 855-860-3119, stating I was being investigated and to contact them immediately with my location. They continue to harrass me and when I give them my lawyers information and request their address they hand up on me. She said the company was Bailey and Rowe. Another scam trying to through the back door. I am reporting them to the attorney generals office.

I received a call from 855 860 3119 they were looking for me said if I was the person that they were looking for to press 1 if not press 2 and speak to a investigator............. Does anyone one know who there people are I would like to report them to the local police dept.  I will not call them back because it know it is a fraud

got a call from"bailey & rowe". asked where they were located and they said dallas. asked for an address and they hung up. called back and asked for an address again and they hung up again.

Just receviced a call from this number on my cellphone, (which isnt in my name), I don't answer calls from unknown numbers, send it straight to V/M, a recording stated they were looking for an individual (gave person name), they didn't state who they were but requested that if I had information on this individual to call them with the info or to forward this message to the person. I have gotten these types of calls before and so have members of my family. They seem to come around Christmas time and tax season. Hence, how you know it nothing more then a scam, looking for money from people, cause these are the times most people have extra cash. If this is a true law office or law agency or debt collector, they would be aware of the Fair Debt Collection Act and when you proceed to tell them about the law and your rigths. they claim you are threating them.  My advice is to report them ASAP, they are using illegal methods to locate you or the person they are looking for.
