- Jeff| 1 replyIf they cannot reqch you wt 888-512-1278 they get "smart" and try this number instead.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Harrassed| 1 replyThis number keeps calling regarding a relative. Stating they are looking to contact them regarding a warrant for an unpaid bill. On top of this being inaccurate information, as you can't issue an arrest warrant for an unpaid bill, I've asked them to stop calling repeatedly. This past time, they hung up on me and I've returned the call several time to find out what they want and they just hang up.
- Caller: Unknown.
- Tired of these Calls| 1 replyThis number 888-512-1385 has called me back to back this morning within the last 3 minutes. They finally left voice from a Sharon Tate and she said she is trying to locate me regarding a past due bill and if she doesn't hear back from me or my attorney by the end of the day a warrant will be issued for my arrest. I called them back to find out more information. I asked what is the name of this firm, where is so located and what is this regarding and they refused to give me any information, they asked that I verify my address, social security number and I told them they are crazy if you think I will verify any personal information to a complete stranger. She said they will issue a warrant and I told them to go ahead because, this is not legit. Since when does a creditor issues an arrest warrants for past due bills and then refuses to verify any information regarding the bill.
- BABESINTOYLAND| 1 replyOMG,, THIS PLACE WILL NOT STOP CALLING ME FOR A FRIEND OF MINE, HE THREATENED ME THAT IF I DID NOT GIVE THEM THE INFO HE WILL HAVE ME ARRESTED, THAT WITH HOLDING INFORMATION FROM A GOVERMENT AGENCY IS PUNISHABLE BY PRISON TIME..
- Caller: WILL NOT TELL ME
- Sherri Dimas| 1 replyThis number has been calling my phone on a daily basis sometimes two times a day.
- CygnuxX1| 1 replyYeah, so, a little background. I've been getting calls for 3 years from this outfit. The numbers they're using to call me currently are 1-888-512-1385 and 1-888-512-1278. There have been others however. My phone is corporate leased by a major bank which I've had for 3 years and I've informed them a number of times that I don't know who the person is that they're trying to reach and to stop calling me. Well, you all know how that goes. Obviously they're robocalling and either too lazy or too stupid to know how to drop numbers from whatever database they're using. Naturally, they're rude and nasty because they're criminals which, is likely the real reason they won't remove your number. They don't give a ****.
It occurred to me today that from now on, when I'm killing time, I'm calling them. Even when I'm on the toilet. Why not? The numbers are toll-free for me, not so for them. Maybe we can all call them at the same time? See how they like it. I'm going to call until they block me.
Anyway, I did a little research into RJ Financial LLC and found this on Page 12 in the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce's announcement of new businesses last year...

Tell them that while you're waiting for the Sheriff, they can expect a visit from the Sheriff of Mecklenburg County or CMPD as well as WBTV Channel 3 "On Your Side' if they don't stop calling you.- Caller: RJ Financial LLC

- Aspen| 1 replyI have been getting those calls on a regular basis, asking for Charlotte Clark, that is what the first name sounds like, however, the last name is definitely Clark. I have told them I DO NOT know a person by that name and how did they get my number in the first place?! I request they remove my number, they say they will, but they don't! What else can I do to get them to stop calling me?! It is the same male voice on every call. When I called back the female says, Investigations, how can I help you? Once when I called back someone hung up on me. The second time I told her not to hang up on me this time, she said she didn't hang up on me, I said, someone did. Then I processed to tell her to stop calling and she told me I didn't have to yell. I told her to stop calling my number! She told me to tell the person that when they call, I told her I had already done that, several times. She said she would remove my number and repeated my name and number back to me which I replied that it was my information! I see that I am not the only one getting these calls! What are we supposed to do to end this nonsense?!
- Caller: Investigations
- b replies to HarrassedThis number called a relative of mine about me. When i called it they would not give me any information and hung up. My husband called back and gleaned the company was in california which ive never been to. When he asked if they would allow him to record they hung up. The third call reaulted in a stop calling stupid... they proceeded to hang up every time after that.
- Sanchez replies to JeffI just got my first message from these guys... since I didn't know it, I let it go to voice mail... after reading everyone's notes, I'll never answer it again. They can F&^%k off and screw themselves for all I care.
- CWG40 replies to BABESINTOYLANDTotal scam. Some kitchen-table debt scammer trying to scare you into paying them money. Don't fall for it. Civil debts are not crimes. There is no arrest. These people are going over the edge.
- CWG40 replies to Tired of these CallsSharon Tate? Christ! She uses the name of one of Charles Manson's victims from back in 1969 as a call back name. How unbelievably stupid that is!
I don't know, maybe their followers of Charles Manson. I know Manson was into a lot of crime, but not debt scamming. - CWG40 replies to Sherri DimasCall blocker might be best.
- CWG40 replies to Aspen
- Bubbish replies to CygnuxX1LMAO! The green house across the street (on Google Earth) with the trash burning, wooden mattress frames, etc. Hilarious!
- MorganThe woman who called (guessing it was Tamika), actually told me she REFUSED to remove my number after I told her I didn't know the party they were trying to reach and that I'd asked them, in the past, to remove my number. Then she hung up on me and called me back again and hung up. I had time to kill so I started calling back, and she kept hanging up on me without answering the phone, that voice mail system would start to answer then cut off. I guess she realized I wasn't going to stop calling after the 21st redial and said "I'm sorry, I was trying to remove your number and we were cut off, what was it again?" so I told her, she said she removed it, and I thanked her--which she seemed surprised I would do. Hey, if you treat me like a human being I'll treat you like one too.
And Cygnus, when they call again (because my bet is that they will), I am looking SO forward to using the info you provided. Thank you.- Caller: RJ Financial Services LLC

http://charmeck.org/city/charlotte/CMPD/Pages/ReportACrime.aspx - Nola LadyWell, these folks have been calling me for awhile now. Everytime they call, I pretty much have the same experience as everyone else. They won't give information and get upset when I refuse to verify mine.
I know we're supposed to ignore them, but I get a kick out of calling them over and over and over again. They get REALLY mad when I start doing so. it becomes quite comical. Sometimes I'll talk, sometimes I won't. Sometimes I call and put the phone to a speaker blasting rock music, or classical or whatever I'm in the mood for.
I get a kick out of it. After that, they start to say I'm harassing them! I tell them "Good and who exactly are you going to complain to because we both know you aren't legit.- Caller: Greenman, Schwart & Associates
- ShillKillFor at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.
Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt. Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group. Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own. In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.
Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot) or Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address). They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily). They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”
Reynolds, Hill, and Associates
Berkley and Associates
Kaufmann and Associates
Sanderson Blaine & Associates
RJ Financial Services
Blaine and Associates
McKenzie Reid Associates
Kennedy, Kline, & Associates

Here is a set of links to a variety of threads on this forum that document this group and its behavior. They include the experiences of victims as well as a former employee or two that quit within a week of finding out exactly what was going on. They also include responses from consumer advocates and people who are really criminal justice professionals advising victims of what to do
