I just got 2 calls within the same minute and a computer voice says that they're calling due to an case they're investigating regarding my number. Obviously, this is a scam. It gives me a number to call back but it's so fast you can't get it.

Recorded call with no name or information except a number to call that was too fast to hear and then it hangs up. Says your phone number is involved in a case.

These people are called Richardsons and Simms. Do not give them any information. They try to tell you that you are being charged with crimes for not paying a debt. Debt is a civil matter. They are actually based out of North Carolina. They are a debt collection agency that uses illegal tactics to try and scare you.

Continuously calls every other day. Yesterday, called me 4 times minutes apart from each other. What a bunch of [***]! Don't they have better things to do, or got bored or something? They leave a contact number that you cannot understand it, and they try not to get contacted. Why? Because it's 100% SCAM!!!

Ms. Miller states thay have a case pending against me regarding money owed t a bank, I think not. She rattles off last for of a ss# that is not mine and then give me an address from many years ago.  

This is the same company thay has called in the past from a 866# thyey should be shut down.  thier attemt to sare me did not work.  Debt is a civil matter and you will notbe arrested for owing money.

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot) or Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address). They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”.  They often call people with a recording claiming they are looking for a "defendant"

After receiving several calls in the past week. This company left a voicemail.  I called back and was asked for my brother. I told them to quit calling the "investigator" laughed and hung up. I called back and the lady called me stupid. Very rude people trying to extort money.

480-270-8627  On 9/4/2014 I spoke with a Ms. Waters, States I am being sued for a past debt.  This company is rentless and ruthless in its goal to extort money from unsuspecting people.  I advised her to remove my number, I do not owe a debt to anyone, that is past due. Demanded she stop calling the number, she has not since I blocked the # on 9/4/2014 I have received 9 attempts to re-contact.
Unbelievable.  Why are these idiots allowed to operate. SMH

Since this group is actually operating out of the Charlotte area, the proper local jurisdiction to file police reports would be the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department

Still getting calls. I have told them several times to quit calling since I have no contact with my brother.     How did they get my number?

I just received a call from 480-270-8627 and it was an automated voice saying that they're investigating a case regarding my number and then quickly says to call a different number. The number is said so quickly you don't understand it. I then hung up. Then 6 minutes later they called again. This is obviously a scam.

called 3 times so far today...I don't ever answer.....

She said she was calling from the Medicare Enrollment Center. 5-2-16
