Called me claiming to be from the check fraud bureau. While i was on the phone with them i went digging online using her name and apparent rank in the sapd...The person does not exist within the DA's office or Police department. Sham of a number. Quickly got upset with me as i pointed out her lies. Called back after reporting the number. :D have fun

Has the same thing happen to me today. Called back and got a voice message saying she was away from the phone and today way April 29th. Today is actually may 21st. Wierd

I just received a call from this number claiming she was from A & B Mediation wanting $1701.13. She claimed I took out a loan and never payed it back. She told me she would take me to court if I did not pay it. I called my bank and they told me it was someone trying to scam me for money. Do not pay this person any money if she calls you! She is lying to you!

Got a call from 210-625-5450 claiming she was from Anderson & Burke Mediators, they are located in Texas.  She was claiming to have a case against to submit to the County where I reside for $1700 or so...for some debt that it was settled long time ago....I was totally confused about this...so I've called the police in my County to file a complaint.

I got a call saying they were filing charges on me for a payday loan debt they wanted 4x the loan amount.  Her name is amber gppdman and she works for allegedly anderson baker mediation or collections it's completely fraud. Call the cops on the or record your conversations for prosecution on them

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot),  Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address) or Phoenix AZ.  They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”.  They often call people with a recording claiming they are looking for a "defendant"

Who are 210 625 5450. Are they legit

Barely audible message on mssg machine for someone with the same last name.  Andrea or something similar, from HMS Services using 210-625-5450, a San Antonio prefix, threatening legal action.  A google search of the phone number or for the HMS Services comes up blank.  No information as to what the "alleged" problem is, but that my attorney should contact them immediately.  It requires "immediate attention".    Someone calls this line at least twice per day; morning and afternoon. I assume it is the same group, using different numbers.  I believe the objective of this group is to "squeeze" this poor person they are looking for until they have just had enough, and will give them something to just go away.
