410-220-0297

I receive a call at least once a day from random numbers including this 410-220-0297 number stating that if I know the whereabouts of some "Howard" person and that if I have information to call 888-408-9651 reguarding the "defendant's location". When I do answer it's an automated message asking if I know the "defendant". It says if I don't know the person to press 2. When I do press 2 it states to wait for an attendant. I have know idea what is going on but it's a different number each time. Super frustrating.

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot),  Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address) or Phoenix AZ.  They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”.  They often call people with a recording claiming they are looking for a "defendant"

CID = WOMENS CANCER. Answered the call out of curiosity. No one there. Presumably a robocall. Number now blocked.

Caller ID said Womens Cancer. I called them back, left a message that there not to call me back and cursed at them. I know it won't do anything but I feel a little better. There is no voicemail on this phone line and I don't pick it up anymore do to these bozos.

Call from ID=Women's Cancer" with no message left. We will block.

receive calls almost daily and sometimes multiple calls a day from 410-220-0297, Womens Cancer. I never answer the phone. They never leave a message.

Called back and got a pre-recorded message from the Woman's Cancer Fund with option to remove my number from the listing. Had to follow prompts but hopefully they remove the number.

Ask for a name, when you respond, a recorded voice says "Oh good I'm glad you picked up. I'm so tired of talking to voice mails. I was just calling about the women's cancer fund." It's a robocall. Block.

Get this call at least once a day. The number "410-220-0297", caller ID says 'Women's Cancer." So, today I answered it. The person on the other end is looking for John & Maria Rice, he has a warrant for their arrest.....etc. Just another scammer. So, I bring my 'horn blaster' out and give a shot of very loud noise. That seems to shut this moron up.

My phone just rang at 10:55 this morning with the Caller ID showing:  "410-220-0297 Womens Cancer".  I picked up, shouted "NO!" and hung up.  My phone immediately rang again but it showed "No data sent".  I'm waiting for these clowns to try again.

Call came in at 6:44 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 410-220-0297 where the Caller ID said:  "Womens Cancer".  This has got to be a SCAM!!!!

May 9, 2017 - call from 410-220-0297, WOMENS CANCER - no message was left. Got a call the next day from  240-722-1922, which also said WOMENS CANCER on caller ID. I answered, and it was a prerecorded voice messages in a women's voice being pressed by a live person, or so it claimed when I asked it if it was a robot.

At the beginning, it played this message:  "Oh good I'm glad you picked up. I'm so tired of talking to voice mails. I was just calling about the women's cancer fund." which another person reported hearing. I made a DNC request during the second call, which was acknowledged in another prerecorded women's voice message.

6/16 CID WOMENS CANCER - several rings, disconnect, no msg - typical scam/robo call pattern - from ALL the above posts DEFINITELY a scam call - recommend block, if possible

Women's Cancer scam.  The robocaller says "Oh, glad you answered...I hate talking to answering machines"....hardy har [***] har!....I like saying "cash" over and over and then you get transferred to an actual "person".  Keep wasting their time....

Number keeps calling, never leaves message

Female claims to be soliciting Pledge's for women's cancer, very pushy, will not take NO for an answer, attempts to get Credit card #,  when call is unanswered no message is left, when call is blocked another number is used 240-722-1922, Sick of being Badgered, I will block that too!

Call came in at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 with the Caller ID showing:  "410-220-0297 WOMENS CANCER".  SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
