I just got a call from this number.  The person asked for someone I'd never heard of and wanted me to say if I knew him.  When I asked him to confirm what number he was calling he refused, told me that he didn't need to, he was certain he'd dialed the correct number, and this person was "going to jail". He then hung up.

The Caller ID listed them as RDS, LLC - whoever that might be.

The number is now on my OOMA black list (thank you OOMA!).

I got a similar call from this number.  He claims his name is Jim Walker and states that he is with Final Processing.  This number is out of Austin Tx.  My gut feeling is that he is with a collections agency.  He called my number and left a voice mail with threats of a warrant being issued and that I was going to Jail.  I called back to question what the real business name is and get more company information on him and all he did was get loud and obnoxious and hang up on me.  After several attempts with call backs he finally stated  that he was going to turn me into his superior.  I was happy that he said that but I did not have any luck on finding out who his superior was because he hung up on me again.  This guy is a loud mouth and unprofessional and rude.  I am going to try to get more information on the company he works for so he is brought out into the light as to how he handles his phone calls and collection efforts.  I do have voice mails where I have his threats recorded.  I will report back when I get more info.

Just got a call from this number but I did not answer since I didn't recognize the number. Seconds later my old boss calls me and says that someone just called him asking for me and said they had an arrest order for me! I look up the number and it's based in Texas, I've never even been to Texas!

The person at the number called a family member of mine..asking for a someone that died three years ago, saying she is going to jail and her next of kin was my family member...I called back and he told me to get paperwork together and to try and figure out who he is..very rude...the guy should be put in jail!

I to got called from this RDS  LLC  and a Jim Walker , and he was very disturbed !  asked for a cousin , and said he gave this number with my wifes name, ?? said he was processing a warrant for him to go to jail .  kept hanging up on me .  I kept calling back , but he was elusive with any answers .  When I called the Texas rangers , they told me he probably is a whack job , they have been getting many complaints about someone trying to get money this way .  So if you have the phone number - track it down and arrest the man ....    easy simple ???   guess not ....   they also said they would track it down and call me back , and never did ?   sounds to me like a scam or a collection company .  which should be outlawed !  

Just got a call form this guy and he said there is a arrest warit for my sister ( I don't have a sister!!)

A guy (never leaves a name) but same guy, calls form 512 960 2982, at 20 times a day, cursing saying I or my husband will be arrested and to call him regarding a name we have no idea who he is taking about.  (He leaves different names).  He wont explain nothing unless you give him personal information. He is rude and he calls constantly at all hours of the night.  He leaves the number 512 960 2982, and when you call it, he (the same guy) says "processing" but won't give any information about who he works for.  He said we have a warrant and we need to turn ourselves in.  I am a law-abiding professional citizen that does not deserve this abuse.  I'm on the do not call list and have no outstanding debt.  I googled this number and this guy is terrorizing the county.  Please help stop this guy before he get an elderly person to believe him and sign their life savings to this guy. We all need to contact this guy and blow up his phone, but I guess we all are better people than he is.  No need to play his sick games.

Great.. Let's all file suit against this guy and his company for harassment, threats and disturbing the peace!  Please post what you find out because, I'm afraid this guy will convince some elderly person that his lies and games are real and scare them into giving him their life savings!

I keep getting calls from this number and the person they're asking for is a family member.  I've told them several times they do not live here and this is not their phone number.  He's starting to make threats to me and calling me out my name.  I don't feel I should have to worry about answering my line and beening mistreated about a matter that don't concern me.  Is there anyway I can block this call?

This guy insane called me trying to get money for something I did not do I dont know how he got my name or number he was rude said I was going to jail and hung up what can we do about him im ready to go after him!

I recently got a call from this # and one listed with a 80 at the end. He said his name was Albert I also spoke to a Jessica. They both gave me the same story. They were very rude and wouldn't give me much info. They said they worked for Axis Law firm. I spoke to the DA office. They told me to not give them any money. They also said an elderly woman had just lost $800 a week earlier to this issue.

I just got the same call that everyone else has been receiving about debt owed and arrests warrants. I gathered some info that I hope will help find the culprits.

I just got a threatening voicemail from this number. When I called to ask that they remove my number from their records I was shouted down and told I'd be thrown in jail. I don't know the person they are looking for. I called back to speak to  a supervisor and was told that I'm "going to jail today" and then the guy hung up on me. I know it's gotta be a collection agency using intimidation tactics. First of all, they have the wrong person, and secondly, the cops don't call you ahead of time to tell you they're gonna arrest you.

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot),  Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address) or Phoenix AZ.  They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”.  They often call people with a recording claiming they are looking for a "defendant"
