Calling saying they are Alan Green and need to serve me with papers on my job.  Told my boss they will come up to my work unless I call them back and pay.

They call me and said that I have been served, and that I need to paid  $900. 00 in five days if not I will be arrest!! They also said that  I have a violation on my drive r licence, I don't have a drivers licence, I don't know how to drive, They said that I owe money to Capital One, never in my life have business with that bank, they keep bother me, I don't know what to do or who to call, they really are getting me on a panic mood and I suffffer from anxiety and depression and these it really taking a toll on me. What can I do?

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt. Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group. Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own. In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot), Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address) or Phoenix AZ. They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily). They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”. They often call people with a recording claiming they are looking for a "defendant"

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Yes now all you have to do is get the other "monkey off your back".  We all know how drug users will lie, steal, cheat, etc. to get money for their drug habit and you have just proven this to be a true statement.

They called my wife and said she owed 1200 dollars from a payday loan that was 7 years old.  I did not even know my wife at the time she took the supposed "loan" from cashnet.  She doesn't recall any details about the loan.  When I talked to this KS Associates, they refused to give me or my wife any information about the loan.  The investigator that I dealt with was the most unprofessional woman ever.  Threats of arresting my wife were given.  I used to work in predatory lending and I know that this is a civil matter, and arrests cannot be made.  When I explained this to the "investigator", she basically insulted me and demanded money.  I told them that I would send them a check via mail if they could provide me with documentation of the "loan".  They wanted nothing to do with a check via mail.  Credit card number over the phone only.  The were very reluctant to give me any information about themselves.  I asked for an address and they told me I didn't need to know it.  Nothing comes up on Google when you put in the name of this law firm.  I'm taking this to Navy Legal.

I found out this is a scam.  Some guy named Alan Green, who seemed to be genuine, is really an [***], a liar, and a thief.  When I spoke to him before I confirmed this was a scam, as I was explaining to him how things were not adding up about this, he started to get more and more defensive.  This was not even my supposed debt, it was my wife's from before we even knew each other, and I began investigating it for her.  As I pulled at the strings, Alan Green was not able to answer the simplest of questions.  K&S Associates is a [***] fake law firm, their web site has a few links to some random crap, there was no links for "Clients", no information about lawyers who actually worked there....because there are none.  We received another call from Global Processing saying that my wife owed another debt that turned to be false.  They operate out of Charlotte, NC, both of them.  The address for Global Processing is actually for a pizza place.  They messed with the wrong couple, because I am in the military, with an outstanding record.  They prey on people who they think can't afford good legal representation, but however, my wife married me, and she gets the same legal representation as I do.  When I confronted Alan Green about his scam, he got defensive and hung up the phone one me.  I will do everything I can to put these [***] in jail, and bring up civil cases that will make them wish they were never born.  If you were a victim of this also, and if you wish to contact me, so you can get back at these pieces of crap, let me know.  I can help you out.
