Just got a call from this number looking for information on an individual said it was a legal matter.. Pretty sure it's some sort of scam but I just hung up..  Been getting all kinds of calls like that the last two days.. Found  the other numbers to be scams just this number had no notes about it..

They just left me 2 messages 5 minutes apart..pretty sure it has scam written all over it.

They called saying the were investigating a person I know and I needed to have that person call them.  Gave me a case number and investigators name and a phone number different than the one that called.  Internet says the number is invalid. I'm thinking scam.

Received a call from an "investigator" from a group called Johnson & Moore. Very rude woman. She advised the call was being recorded. I said great. This is an ongoing scam. They are probably just a junk debt buyer phishing for any money they can make. I have an active complaint with the FTCB and State Attorney General.

Just remember folks... If you ask for supporting documentation they must provide it. An email is insufficient. It must be on their company letterhead sent via USPS.  Never send any payment or provide your credit card to anyone who you think is possibly fake. Real companies send real invoices.

They called me this morning @ 9:01, i called that # back , a lady answered and said she was an investigator and said there were 2 things they were going after me for one was fraud and don't remember the other thing.  They said i can either go to court or settle it out of court. The court filing was in Bonner County i don't even live in that county! She wanted me to pay $170.00 a month until it was paid and i told her I am NOT GIVING OUT my debit # ! I ended up yelling and screaming @ her, she made me SO MAD! I know my blood pressure shot up which i'm taking medication for, if i would've had a heart attack i would've sued her over this @ least i didn't swear @ her, but it was sure tempting to do! I contacted an attorney here spoke with the receptionist i gave her the info. she will pass it on to her boss. I gave her the # that called ,that 760-314-6294.She said they can garnish my wages, i said you can not garnish SSI or Social Security wages she said yes she can that's when i started screaming and yelling @ her! She put me on hold and i hung up still fuming mad, i was shaking , my chest was getting warm,etc. I guess they do this stuff just to scare us into sending them our money!

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot),  Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address) or Phoenix AZ.  They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”.  They often call people with a recording claiming they are looking for a "defendant"

Received a call from this number looking for a person.  Sure it's a scam.   Told to call 855-948-4460.   Checked out that number and it's connected to a different number in South Carolina.  These people are horrible!

I requested their address repeatedly and they hung up......

Attention 760-314-6294: I will not be calling you back. you just called my number at 4:25pm EST. If I called you back, that would just verify you called a good number. You are scam and we all know it. I just added you to the block list, so go ahead and change your number again. I will never answer any of your calls ever again. I fell for your scam a couple times, but never, ever will I continue to fund your terrorism ways ever again. i hope to meet you someday, go ahead deliver these court papers to my home or work, I will be waiting. Although, I will not hold my breath because you will never show up, just another scare tactic. Stay in your country and try to make money there, your not making any more here in the USA!

Be warned if you get a call from 760-314-6294 it is a scam. The same story they claim they are clients of a third part. You refer them to your attorney they claim they do not work through third party. Funny they are a third party. People, if the company will not work with your legal counsel there is a issue. If they have a true legal claim they would be excited to talk to your attorney so they can get to the bottom of the issue. The high pressure scare tacit and refusal to talk with your attorney is a clear warning. Any true investigator understand what it means when you to refer them to your attorney.

who is the heck is this nbr? as they called here and hang up. so I called back and it stated that it was longest connection then said it was wrong nbr. WTF is that....pls stop this hacker from calling me.
