Received multiple calls from this number saying they are looking for my husband, when I asked what it was in regards to they said it was a legal matter and hung up. Believe it may be scam debt collectors much like a few other random calls that we've received in the past. Can find no further information and they never mention a company name.

Report this phone by Law why they call debt collector at work is not supose to call.  How many time and nasty leave voice mail at the fed gov. Can find no further information and they never mention a company name.

I finally got an answer when I called back.  They said they were Moore and Associates.  I suspect them of trying to claim they are filing a lawsuit over a payday loan.  Good Luck to them.  When the first loan was finally paid off, I got my check back and they have nothing to show on the other loan..  As far as suing me, the loan is 5 years old and covered by the statute of limitations.

I have been receiving scam calls for about 3 years now.  This is simply a newer phone number.  They said they were looking for "Mary Smith" and that if I didn't know Mary Smith to please press 2.  I pressed 2 and it said, please hold while we connect you.   Ummmmm ...  NOOOOOOOO

Receive a call from this number.  Said the company name was Lehman and Turner (questionable). They called themselves investigators.  I did press 2 to see what they wanted and the person asked for a file number.  When I told her I did not have a number, she wanted to know if I had pressed 2.  I told her yes and she said "good luck" and hung up.  I am tired of them calling and being rude, so I called the number back. They went through the same process and tried to get me to answer questions about a credit card.  I simply told them I would not be answering any questions and to communicate with me in writing. Then they wanted to connect me with the "Closing Department".  Another person came on with the same crap and I told them not to call anymore, communicate in writing.  I finally just hung up on them because they were moving toward trying to press me for answers and there is no way anyone should engage in conversation with them. They want you to feel threatened by some bogus lawsuit.  Ignore them!

I called them back bc i seen a missed call on my phone. They said i had an outstanding balance and i would arrested if i didnt pay. LMAO. For real? Well they hung up on me when i asked for their company information. Well i called back, they hung up again. So now i cal and call and call and call and call and call and call and call. Im going to call at 2 am tonight, just for the hell of it. They messed with the wrong person. ESP BC I HAVE NO UNPAID DEBTS!!! Scares me that they have my ssn#. But thats what life loc is for.--------John

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot),  Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address) or Phoenix AZ.  They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as “Investigations”.  They often call people with a recording claiming they are looking for a "defendant"

They keep calling me about someone I don't know, identifying themselves only as "investigations." They're supposed to have removed my number from their files, but obviously, they have not. I filed a complaint with the FCC.

Got a call from this number about a check into cash loan.  That was like 9 years ago and was paid off.  The girl on the phone said her name was Brenda Lewis.  I asked her to send me the original contract with my signature on it and she started trying to overtalk me.  I just hung up.  She called back and told me I was hiding behind the phone and needed to respond.  Right!
